Drop Cards are one of my favorite little techniques for offline marketing.

If you have a business card, even with a catchy slogan, and you leave them laying around, people identify them as ‘business cards’ which is one step away from ‘trash’.

Drop Cards are printed to look like a folded bill ($20, $100, whatever). You fold it, and leave it around (there are tons of videos of people doing so – in the pockets of clothing, etc.) to be found.  When opened, the back-side has your blurb and website/phone number.

People see what looks like a folded $100 bill on the ground and they will pick it up and open it.  Even if they’re not interested in your message (“Jobs SUCK!”), they most likely either drop it, or keep it and show it to others!

BOOM! Offline technique going viral!

One of my favorite techniques is to to always keep some with me, especially when going to a bookstore.  Imagine someone opening Rich Dad, Poor Dad or Success Magazine and having YOUR drop card fall out!  That’s a powerful way to get your message out!

Here’s the Drop Card Marketing provider I use.  Great service, and the best pricing I could find!
