Drink ACT Product and Opportunity Review

Drink ACT has been around for years, and has a successful product in their Healthy Energy drink. Like most companies, they have positives and negatives, but is this a recommended Opportunity?

The Drink ACT Product Review

Drink ACT‘s claim to fame is their line of healthy energy drinks in both cans and powder form. It uses Guarana Seed, which they claim has an effect similar to caffeine spread out over hours AND multiple health benefits such as:

Boosts Energy
Promotes Healthy Cholesterol Levels *
Promotes Healthy Blood Sugar Levels *
Promotes a Healthy Cardiovascular System *
Promotes a Healthy Immune System *

Personally, I love the product. I think it works, and I enjoy the taste much more than the other options like Monster or RockStar. Since I’m a product-driven marketer who believes YOU need to believe in your product to successfully and comfortably share it with others, this is a big item.

Drink ACT has also expanded dramatically – adding weight-room quality products, as well as *ahem* sexual enhancement products. They’ve also purchased other companies such as Bellamora (skin care) and Javafit (coffee). Further, Drink ACT is now owned by Youngevity, a very large and very successful Network Marketing firm.

And this is where I have concerns. Companies that have their niche and expand within it or at least with closely related products are great and continue to increase volume – but Drink ACT has expanded Horizontally. There’s not a lot of synergy between healthy energy, skin care, and coffee. Big turn-off for me. Further, although they continue to function independently and with their own compensation plan, what does the future hold being owned by another firm?

At it’s heart, the Drink ACT Compensation is a Binary system, where you’re paid on volume that matches on BOTH legs – a major downside to any Binary.

And you don’t get paid on total volume, but in 120 GV ‘slices’. so, you have 120 volume in both legs, and $10 pops out of the system for you. You can continue to repeat that each cycle – however your total commissions paid are ‘capped’ at $1750.

I know people who’ve joined, become very successful and stayed with the company – but in some ways the compensation plan seems designed to limit you.

However, one Major upside to Drink ACT is their product is easily slotted into the existing market, so if you’re so inclined and hungry for success, you could find independent grocers or convenience stores and get your product on the shelves. Of course, you have to purchase the product, signage, etc., but a legitimate way to build a business!

Drink ACT Conclusion

I personally have a very high opinion of the company and their core product and have seriously considered Drink ACT a couple of times now.

However, their multiple new, totally unrelated product lines, the fact their owned by another company, and a compensation plan where you could be ‘chasing’ volume in your Weak leg constantly is a Show Stopper for me.

Review it for yourself, try the product, and it may be just right for you. I know people are successful and full time with the company and have been for years!
